
Peter Lea-Cox studied organ at the Royal Academy of Music with Douglas Hawkridge. He was Assistant Music Master at Oundle School from 1967 to 1972, returned to the Royal Academy combining teaching and administration from 1973 to 1987, and then became Cantor at St Anne and St Agnes, Gresham Street, London.
A noted organist and choral and orchestral conductor, he is also a
composer and arranger and founder of the Lecosaldi Ensemble. He
undertakes an annual series of organ recitals
in churches in Denmark, playing both baroque and contemporary works to
great acclaim.
He lives in Devon, and is married to Gillian Humphreys, music teacher,
singer, cake-maker and potter.
